I love the feeling of objects like hills and trees blending softly into the light. There’s something very magical about it. It’s like a layer cake of light. These things are compelling to me. There is a quietness to it and I tried to engender this piece with a certain quietness of its own. A single tree standing on its own. A couple of trees off in the distance having a moment to themselves… All at the feet of the mountains looming silently in the background.
